COVID-19 Rainbow of Hope

Rainbows have been adopted as a symbol of hope during these difficult times, as they often appear when the sun comes out after a heavy rainfall, only serving to remind us that there is always hope and light even after difficult times. This is likely why the rainbow symbol was chosen by people wanting to show solidarity with key workers in the fight against the coronavirus.

In keeping with the spirit of the rainbow theme, The Beeches have now adopted the use of different coloured email signature blocks as a symbol of our support for all the amazing key workers who have stood tall over the past number of weeks and months.  Each of our residential care homes, supported living homes, The Beeches Independent Special School, and our employees have chosen their own preferred colour based on the colours meaning, which as well as recognising our wonderful key-workers, has also given all our young people and staff an opportunity to reflect on, and acknowledge the unique ethos and character within The Beeches.
