Feedback
At The Beeches feedback is extremely important to us. We use it as a tool to influence the type of support we provide for our young people in our homes and school, and it assists us in our ability to continually evolve as an organisation.
Previously Looked After Young Person
“As a former resident of The Beeches for 6 years, I can say without a doubt that the staff there are very welcoming. They were like a family, who understood me, and helped me understand things in life. Though I’ve moved on from the Beeches and have my own home (so-to-speak) they will always have a special place in my heart.”

The Team is excellent with their communication and support the school with implementing boundaries and expectations. All staff are very responsive, caring and supportive. The home provides an excellent, nurturing, and holistic service in the care to their YP.”

“There is good communication between the home and school. The home are proactive in making sure Z is in school regularly and on time. Staff are always fully co-operative and supportive. We have found working alongside the home very positive and we are supportive in the good work they are doing with Z.”

“The home supports YP effectively because they understand their individual needs, their childhood trauma, and the support services to signpost to ensure that all their global needs are met. The placement is very good at communicating and updating the LA.”
Children’s Services – Inclusion & Achievement
“I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you and your team for your commitment and support over the past few weeks. The preparation and the encouragement from home has certainly had a positive impact on their transition, in particular for K. Thank you to all of your team for their consistent work around this and for so quickly establishing positive relationships with school. In what have been potentially difficult conversations with professionals it has been a pleasure to hear you speak about the children with such warmth and to advocate for them and their best interests.”
Hounslow Children’s Social Care
“The staff have gone to great lengths to support LR, for instance during his hospital procedure at West Middlesex hospital in London, accompanying him and staying with him throughout the duration. I find the case and support they provide LR very strong and the communication with the home regarding LR is very effective.”
Social Worker
“SA is a very challenging, complex child, but since residing at The Maples he seems happier, more open and all smiles, he even had a conversation with me and showed me his paintings that he has been doing and this is new – he is happy to talk to me now. He is a completely different child and it’s as if they have waved a magic wand.”
Social Worker – West Sussex Children We Care for Team
“Cedars is exceptionally professional in their support for J. There have been many challenges with J’s care since he arrived at Beeches 2 years ago. Staff have worked sensitively with J since the beginning and are still doing so to manage his behaviour. J is no longer aggressive towards staff and is now settled at the placement.”
Cambridgeshire Social Care
“JO has thrived in the home and enjoys the support from staff.”
London Borough of Newham Children and Young People’s Services
“I have been really impressed at the support provided to YS. He has had a difficult time and has needed to move away from London and his known support network. Jo and her team have gone above and beyond to help YS feel comfortable and safe. Jo has built a great relationship with YS in the short time he has been living at the Beeches and this has meant increased information and intelligence being shared with the wider professional network, which is invaluable in terms of safeguarding YS. It is refreshing to encounter a provider of semi-independent accommodation who go above and beyond to support the young person in their care.”
