Building Partnerships with Local Authorities
The partnership consists of 34 Local Authorities from the East, East Midlands, South-East, and South-West Regions.
Criteria
Benefits of partnership working:
- Improved overall quality standards and outcomes for young people.
- Local Authorities are able to work in partnership to reduce duplication of tasks and share information securely in one place.
- Shared quality assurance monitoring and fee negotiations.
- Provision of quality up to date information on service providers.
- Effective communication across the partnership.
London minimum criteria for resources to be listed are as follows:
- The service is ‘outstanding’ or ‘good’ according to OFSTED and on a path to achieve excellence in delivery of outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
- Working well to achieve the best possible outcomes for each child.
- The provider is working constructively with London boroughs to secure the best possible service within a simple fee structure.
- The location of the resource is in or around London, exceptionally where service is not available close to London.
- No service provider will be registered if rated as ‘inadequate’.
